The Mid-Atlantic Pathwork Mid-Atlantic Pathwork (MAP) is a community of spiritual seekers with a common interest in Pathwork. We offer a number of Pathwork-related services, including classes and workshops at Sevenoaks Retreat Center in Madison, VA, which is owned and operated by MAP. Through our network of Pathwork Helpers, Pathwork is taught locally in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, Massachusetts, and on the web. Students from around the world attend Pathwork programs online and at Sevenoaks. The Mid-Atlantic Pathwork was founded by Donovan and Susan Thesenga in 1976, when they donated the property they had been using as a center for personal and spiritual growth. Called “Sevenoaks” since the Civil War and named in honor of the seven majestic 300-year-old oak trees that crown a ridge with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Center is the heart and spiritual home of the Mid-Atlantic Pathwork.
